About Melissa Lipton
I'm an award-winning fine art photographer living in the Vail Valley in central Colorado.
My passion is spending time in nature, and capturing the beauty around me for everyone to enjoy. As you can see from my galleries, I enjoy all types of photography, but most of all, I enjoy capturing memories of the outdoors and teaching others.
After over 2 decades as a medical doctor and radiologist, I decided to bring my new career out of the dark room and into the light! I now am a full time photographer, and I am constantly seeking out new places to explore. And I love photographing people as they enjoy the outdoors with me.
Studies show that nature has healing properties, and my dream is to continue to heal others by bringing scenic beauty inside every home and workplace, hospital and hotel, restaurant and mall.

In my photography workshops, I lead other photographers out to my favorite places in nature and help them learn to capture photos they will treasure for a lifetime.
